Metodika VŠB-TUO zohledňuje umístění časopisu ve všech oborových kategoriích databází Web of Science a ScimagoJR. Z relativních hodnot těchto umístění je pomocí geometrického průměru určeno výsledné zařazení do decilu či kvartilu.
