On 11 December, the first EuroHPC User Day will take place in Brussels, organised by the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU). Users will be given the opportunity to present their projects, get acquainted with the thematic sessions and learn about the opportunities offered by the EuroHPC JU.

This year, the pan-European EuroHPC JU will host the first EuroHPC User Day, a meeting of users of EuroHPC systems, including the Czech supercomputer Karolina. The event will take place on 11 December at the Charlemagne Building in Brussels, Belgium. It will provide a unique opportunity for users of EuroHPC systems to present their projects, learn about current topics, and deepen their understanding of the possibilities the EuroHPC JU offers.

The meeting programme will include a plenary session where the EuroHPC JU will present the National Centres of Competence for HPC (NCC) and Centres of Excellence (CoE) and their systems and access possibilities. The Karolina supercomputer will be presented by Branislav Jansík, Director of the Supercomputing Services Department at IT4Innovations.

The event will offer parallel sessions focusing on different scientific disciplines, from computer science and mathematics to earth sciences and biochemistry to artificial intelligence and quantum computing. Participants will also have an insight into future events and activities of the EuroHPC Joint Undertaking.
