IT4Innovations supports the scientific community as well as IT4I users by organizing high-quality courses, tutorials, workshops, and other educational events. The primary objective of these activities is to universally enhance competences of users so as to efficiently utilize the unique IT4Innovations infrastructure. In a broader sense, IT4Innovations also aims at increasing awareness and the level of knowledge about HPC among those interested from academia and industry nationwide.
The topics of the courses offered by IT4Innovations are focused on computer systems and architectures, programming methods and tools, and libraries and applications. We have been awarded the status of the PRACE Training Center established by the pan-European PRACE research infrastructure, and one of the trainers has been awarded ambassadorship of the NVIDIA Deep Learning Institute for universities.
The training events are organised by IT4Innovations mainly as full-time one- or two-day courses, recently only in online form. Participation in courses is free of charge and you need to register for them on the courses website, where you can also find more detailed information. Course capacity is usually limited with participants being admitted based on the order of registration.
