After computing time is allocated, several steps must be carried out. For details, please go to https://docs.it4i.cz/en/docs/general/get-access/account-introduction.
Obtaining Login Data
The computational resources are allocated to the Primary Investigator. The computing time can be shared with several other Collaborators based on a request submitted at support@it4i.cz. All users are requested to ask for login data at support@it4i.cz.
Please provide the following information:
- Project ID
- Full name and surname
- Statement that you have read and accepted the Acceptable Use Policy document (AUP).
- Attach the AUP file
- Your preferred username, max 8 characters long. The preferred username must associate your surname and name or be otherwise derived from it.
- If you choose an Alternative to a personal certificate, you must provide a scan of a photo ID (personal ID, passport, or driving license).
If the above information is provided by email, it must be digitally signed. The documentation provides more information.
Acceptable Use Policy
All users are requested to sign the Acceptable Use Policy (AUP) document. The purpose of this document is to define the rules and terms governing acceptable use of resources (core hours, license hours, data storage capacity, as well as network connectivity and technical support), including access, utilisation and security of the resources and data.
Registering publications
Please register with IT4Innovations for all publications supported by the infrastructure. You may do so here: https://scs.it4i.cz/publications.
The acknowledgements and publication registration are very important. They are necessary procedures that allow us to continue providing high-end computational resources to all academic and research institutions in the Czech Republic.
Submission of final reports
One of the requirements upon completion of the project is to write the final report (as an example, there is a sample report). Here you can submit the report, section 'Final reports'. The report must be submitted within 20 workdays after end of the projects.
The Certificates for Digital Signatures
We accept personal certificates issued by any widely respected certification authority.
Please find more information in FAQ.
End of User Account Lifecycle
User accounts that are not attached to an active project and are not affiliated with IT4I will be deleted 1 year after the last project to which they were attached expires. The user will receive 3 automatically generated warning e-mail messages of the pending removal:
- The first message will be sent 3 months before the removal.
- The second message will be sent 1 month before the removal.
- The third message will be sent 1 week before the removal.
