IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center is a leading research, development, and innovation centre active in the fields of High-Performance Computing (HPC), Data Analytics (HPDA), Artificial Intelligence (AI), and Quantum Computing (QC) and their applications. We have strong international links and employ more than 220 scientific, technical, and administrative staff. At present, IT4Innovations is running two supercomputers: Karolina (15.7 PFlop/s, installed in the summer of 2021), Barbora (849 TFlop/s, installed in the autumn of 2019), and is a member of the consortium operating LUMI, one of Europe's most powerful supercomputers. We are looking for a

AI researcher                  

for Parallel Algorithms Research Laboratory

 

Activity description:

  • development of new AI models,
  • optimization of training and inference pipelines for AI models,
  • collaborate with a well established group of developers and researchers creating highly innovative solutions.

Full time equivalent: 1,0

Type of job contract: fixed-term employment

Expected start of employment: 1. 7. 2026 or as agreed

Number of positions: 1

                              

We require:                

  • minimum Bc.  in computer science or mathematics,
  • required experience:
    • knowledge of AI libraries such as PyTorch, DeepSpeed, YOLO, Unsloth,
    • knowledge of models and trends in the  AI community,
    • experience with data analysis and processing,
  • experience with the following technologies is an advantage:
    • experience with High Performance Computing systems,
    • proficiency with git,
  • will to work in an international environment which requires good communication skills in the English language both spoken and written,
  • ability to learn new technologies and to work in a dynamic research environment.
