Dear fans of the National Supercomputing Center,

The September edition of the IT4Innovations newsletter brings you a diverse overview of opportunities to take your projects a step further. You will learn about access to EuroHPC JU supercomputers – including the Czech Karolina – at the EuroHPC User Days 2025 conference, which will take place at the end of September in Copenhagen; selected sections will also be available to watch online. In October, we will launch another IT4Innovations Open Access Grant Competition. In this issue, you will find an overview of open EuroHPC JU calls, including the opportunity to apply for computational resources on LUMI.

At the same time, we have extraordinary news for you: on 23 September, we will inaugurate the VLQ quantum computer, the first to be installed in the Czech Republic. You can watch the event live via a YouTube stream.

We cordially invite you to the Users’ Conference of IT4Innovations, which will take place from 30 to 31 October in Ostrava.

To wrap up, recognising the importance of ongoing professional/skills development, we have prepared a wide range of training events for you – from workshops on deep and quantum machine learning to practical courses on using the LUMI supercomputer.

We wish you inspiring reading and look forward to seeing you!
