Dear friends of the National Supercomputing Center,
Autumn brings a host of new developments at IT4Innovations. The Czech Republic’s first quantum computer, VLQ, is now open to users, with the first projects already testing its potential in science and real-world applications. Barbora NG, the latest addition to our supercomputing infrastructure, has also entered full operation.
Thanks to IT4Innovations’ involvement in the LUMI AI Factory, the Czech Republic will gain access to the LUMI-AI supercomputer, which will offer approximately ten times the performance for artificial intelligence compared with the current LUMI system.
The latest issue of our newsletter also brings updates on grant competitions and opportunities to access computational resources, as well as invitations to autumn events, including training courses.
Yours,
IT4Innovations
