The EuroHPC Summit brings together top HPC professionals annually and has been held since 2016. This year, for the second time, the main organizer is the EuroHPC Joint Union. European supercomputing stakeholders, public and private, decision-makers, and our colleagues from IT4Innovations will also be present. Sharing knowledge and innovation connects the HPC community across Europe.

IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Center will also participate in the EuroHPC Summit 2024. The conference will take place in Antwerp, Belgium, on 18-21 March. The theme of this year's event is "Unleashing the power of European HPC and quantum computing," and will showcase current trends and challenges in high-performance computing. Participants will discuss synergizing quantum and HPC for future technologies, the challenges in HPC after the exascale, current usage, needs, and future challenges for EuroHPC systems, and co-designing the future of European HPC. Plenary discussions will also focus on the benefits of extreme-scale applications and European Industrial HPC resources.

The conference will be opened by Gustav Kalbe, Acting Director of CNECT.C, Anders Dam Jensen, Executive Director of EuroHPC JU, Jo Brouns, Flemish Minister for Economy, Innovation, Work, Social Economy and Agriculture, and Rafał Duczmal, Chairman of the Governing Board of EuroHPC JU.

IT4Innovations will present the Karolina supercomputer and related research at the conference and participate in presentations of research projects in which it is involved. The conference will also include the EuroHPC Demo Lab, a space dedicated to the demonstration of seven supercomputers acquired with the contribution of the EuroHPC JU. Visitors can learn about the Karolina supercomputer and its use on Tuesday, 19 March, from 9:30 to 12:00.

Ondřej Vysocký from the Infrastructure Research Laboratory will present in the session "How Does One Define an 'Energy Efficient' HPC System? From Data to Action" on Tuesday, 19 March at 11:30.

The poster session of the conference will present POP3SPACE, and MaX and international projects such as ACROSS, EUMaster4HPC, EUPEX, EuroCC, IO-SEA, LIGATE, SCALABLE, in which IT4Innovations is involved.
