IT4Innovations National Supercomputing Centre:

is national Tier-1 HPC system that is dedicated for use by Czech science community. It also represents Czech Republic in the European infrastructure PRACE (high performance computing infrastructure). Besides operating the most powerful system in the Czech Republic, IT4I is also a research centre for the area development and support for HPC technologies and applications. Its mission is also providing education and training and dissemination of HPC activities.

 

 

CERIT-SC (CERIT – Scientific Cloud):

represents the most important Tier-2 system in the Czech Republic. Its computational resources are partly detached into CESNET’s Matacenter. It provides flexible storage and computing resources including support for their usage for scientific purposes. At the same time the centre does a research and development in the area of flexible e-infrastructures. More information

 

CESNET:

epresents national academic network and national data storage. Through Metacenter links computing resources of regional Tier-2 systems in the Czech Republic. It represents the Czech Republic in European e-infrastructures GÉANT (network infrastructure) a EGI (grid infrastructure). In the Czech Republic performs the function of NREN (National Research and Education Network). More information CESNET and METACENTRUM.
