The Doctoral School for Education in Mathematical Methods and Tools in HPC (abbreviated the MathInHPC Doctoral School) integrates PhD study programs and workplaces focused on developing methods in the field of High Performance Computing and their applications in computationally intensive research areas.
The Doctoral School was established in 2019 by IT4Innovations, the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics of Charles University in Prague, the Institute of Mathematics of the CAS, and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science of VSB-TUO. The University of Ostrava‘s Faculty of Sciences became a new partner in 2020. The activities of the Doctoral School are defined by the Consortium Agreement on establishing the Doctoral School, and the Doctoral School Board consisting of its partners' representatives is responsible for its organization.
