Late-stage undergraduate and masters students are invited to apply for the PRACE Summer of HPC 2019 programme. Consisting of a kick-off training week and two months (July & August) at top HPC centres around Europe, the programme offers participants the opportunity to learn and share more about Partnership for Advanced Computing (PRACE) and HPC, and includes accommodation, a stipend and travel to their HPC centre. Students can choose from interesting projects they would prefer to work on. Selected students will attend a kick-off training week at CINECA Supercomputing Centre in Bologna (Italy)and after that will continue with their stay in one of the HPC centres around Europe (United Kingdom, Ireland, Luxembourg, Italy, Spain, Greece, Germany, Netherlands, Slovenia, Slovakia and Czech Republic) and produce a report and a visualisation or video of their results. IT4Innovations will as in the previous years also host students. Previous experience in HPC is not required as training will be provided. Some coding knowledge is a prerequisite, but the most important attribute is a desire to learn, and share experiences with HPC. A visual flair and an interest in blogging, video blogging or social media are desirable. Date of the internship: 1 July – 31 August 2019 More info about the program: https://summerofhpc.prace-ri.eu/ The list of projects for 2019 can be found at: https://summerofhpc.prace-ri.eu/projects-2019/ Registration for internships – until 25 February 2019:
