Hyperloom and the intelligent online navigation system have been nominated for the Innovation Radar Prize 2018
With your vote, you can support the work of our colleagues, which has been nominated for the Innovation Radar Prize of the European Commission. Voting takes place until 12 November, and these 2 IT4Innovations innovations have been nominated, in 2 categories:
- HyperLoom, an open-source framework for defining and executing workflow pipelines in large-scale distributed environments. HyperLoom users can easily define dependencies among computational tasks and create a pipeline which can then be executed on supercomputers. The software has already been used on large scale machine learning pipelines for the pharmaceutical industry, and in other domains such as civil engineering.
Vote for Hyperloom in the Excellent Research category:
- The intelligent online navigation system for citizens for traffic congestion mitigation, on which we have cooperated with Sygic. With the help of supercomputers, navigation is able to provide drivers with the most up-to-date data in the shortest possible time for a total drive time reduction.
Vote for the navigation system in the Early Stage Innovation category:
Thank you for voting.
The Innovation Radar is a European Commission initiative to identify high potential innovations and innovators in EU-funded research and innovation projects. Using the radar, 48 of the best EU-funded innovators have been identified to compete with their EU-funded innovation for the Innovation Radar Prize 2018. The public is invited to vote for their favourite innovators from among 48 in 5 categories by 12 November 2018. On the basis of this vote the 20 finalists (4 in each category) who get to compete in the Innovation Radar final will be identified. The jury of experts will pick 1 winner from each category in December in Vienna at the ICT 2018 conference.
