PraceSummer2018 Early-stage postgraduate and late-stage undergraduate students are invited to apply for the PRACE Summer of HPC 2018 programme. Consisting of a training week at EPCC Supercomputing Centre in Edinburgh and two months (July & August) on placement at top HPC centres around Europe, the programme offers participants the opportunity to learn and share more about Partnership for Advanced Computing (PRACE) and HPC, and includes accommodation, a stipend and travel to their HPC centre. Students can choose from interesting projects they would prefer to work on. Selected students will attend a kick-off training week at EPCC Supercomputing Centre in Edinburgh and after that will continue with their stay in one of the HPC centres around Europe (UK, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Greece, Cyprus, Germany, Netherlands, Slovenia, Slovakia and Czech Republic). IT4Innovations will as in the previous years also host students.. PRACE covers their expenses related to accommodation and travel to the HPC centre of their placement and provides a stipend. Previous experience in HPC is not required as training will be provided. Some coding knowledge is a prerequisite, but the most important attribute is a desire to learn, and share experiences with HPC. Date of the internship: 2 July to 31 August 2018 https://summerofhpc.prace-ri.eu/
