Head of the Supercomputing Services: responsible for the management, operation and availability of supercomputing infrastructure

He joined IT4Innovations in August 2012 after leaving the Chemistry Institute of Aarhus University in Denmark where he worked as an Associate Professor. He significantly contributed to the development of a computer cluster at Aarhus University, the second most powerful Danish national computing centre. He began working with computing models that use supercomputers eleven years ago in his original line of work, chemistry. As a team leader of both research and applied projects, he has worked both on European (Denmark, Sweden, Italy and Spain) and global supercomputers (Titan, Oak Ridge Leadership Facility). He obtained a large PRACE grant.
