PRACE and IT4Innovations Workshop
Event: The PRACE and IT4Innovations Workshop: HPC Users’ Access: Access to Computing Resources and HPC Services for the Czech Republic
On 5 April 2012, a workshop for anyone interested in supercomputing capacities and HPC services was held in the Business Incubator of VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava. It was primarily meant for those from academia and research spheres who would like to use the most efficient HPC resources in Europe, including the computing capacities of IT4Innovations. The workshop presented the European PRACE network of supercomputing centres and, more importantly, showed the potential use of computing time in the supercomputing centres it combines. The workshop also presented possible future uses of the Ostrava supercomputing centre IT4Innovations.
